DB V200 Information

The classic Deutsche BundesBahn Locomotive. The V200 was developed by jointly by BZA Munich and Krauss Maffei.

The Phoenix Version is based on the first full production series of the loco numbered 05-049. This is considered by many to be the classic era of the hydraulics in Germany. They have proved to be robust and reliable in service and there are still some examples in use today.

The model has a one-piece GRP body-shell with additional composite parts for the valances and interior detailing.

The kit features polyurethane moulded detailing for the driving desks, bulkheads, engine covers, cab seats, cab steps, fire extinguishers. Etc; There is also more than eight square feet of etched nickel detailing parts and a wealth of lost wax cast brass parts for exterior and bogie detailing.

Combined with our state of the art control system and four powerful 150w motors driving all axles this is a loco that can deliver the goods in looks and in use.
