20 ton Guards Brake Van.
This, the first in our range of rolling stock for the main line enthusiast is based on the LNER / BR 20ton van. The Guards Van is typical of the designs that were run on freight trains all over the country to provide additional braking to unfitted rolling stock. You can model either the late LNER or BR van by making minor changes.

Traditionally one of the most difficult parts of the model for the engineer to build has been the wooden body, which is why we have chosen to feature a pre-cut fully detailed Birch Plywood body shell.
This means that the highly detailed body, with the planking etched into each panel can be slotted together in minutes. Additional detailing is provided including separate duckets, handrails and running boards.
All of which mean that you can build a highly detailed scale guards van in days rather than months.
