The Geep Information

Based on the GP Series of locos produced by the Electro-Motive Division in the US, the Geep takes styling cues from the entire series rather than a particular model. The loco features two of our 1hp low profile power bogies to give plenty of passenger hauling capacity.

The iDrive 180 amp controller with remote handset allows safe, reliable running with the driver able to sit comfortably within the loco. The onboard handbrake operates a disc and calliper on the front bogie to allow safe stopping in the station or on an incline.

The left side panel has a door for easy access for the driver.

The all steel bolt-together construction makes a robust and powerful combination, equally at home on the club track or garden railway, so it really is a "General Purpose" loco.
