Y6 Tram Information

The LNER Y6 tram has a robust welded steel chassis and a laser cut birch plywood body with lots of detailing panels and window frames. The tram uses a 1hp DC motor controlled by the latest digital technology and is a popular passenger hauling locomotive.

The Y6 uses the same well-developed and proven drive system as The Hesketh Loco and makes a very substantial 7¼" gauge engine
