Control
- 200 amp iDrive digital controller.
- Remote handset on one metre lead with rotary power control, direction and optional horn switches and dead-mans facility.
- Handset plugs into rear panel of loco
- Freewheel and half speed switches located on top of rear bunker panel with Accucharge LED readout and battery master switch.
- Two additional switches fitted for optional use.
- Accucharge display gives battery condition and diagnostics.
Mechanical
- Chain drive from motor to central lay-shaft and to both axles.
- Independent spring suspension, self aligning bearings, CNC wheels (151mm diameter) and 25mm axles. 6mm welded buffer/drag beams.
Body
- Laser cut and folded steel panels 2,3 and 6mm steel as required.
- Buffer beams are welded 6mm steel with three coupling pockets. Bolt together construction. Panels powder coated in owners choice of colour.
Electrical
- All wiring is supplied. The battery and motor wires are hidden below the frame floor. This eliminates trailing wires across loco.
- 50 amp midi fuse and battery master switch.
- A charging loom is included with an Anderson power connector under the rear frame.
- A matching connector will be supplied as standard for fitting to your battery charger.
Safety
- Dead-mans loop provided on remote handset.
- Loco will stop if loop is disconnected.
- Loco will not proceed if it detects a fault.
- The accucharge display will give fault report.
- Fault can be rectified and system reset.
- Controller will recheck system and operate normally when fault is cleared.
- The above applies if dead-mans loop is activated, if the handset is disconnected or the handset lead is severed.
- If throttle is opened before battery master switch is operated, loco will not move.
- Throttle must be at zero when battery power is established. This prevents inadvertent movement of loco.
- A battery master switch with key is fitted as standard.
- A battery charging system is fitted with an Anderson connector under the cab to allow battery charging without removing batteries or having to remove the bonnet.
- The kit includes a second Anderson connector for you to fit to your battery charger.
- Battery straps are provide for safe, secure location of batteries.
- Anchor points for safety chains at front and rear of loco.

- Chassis/frame, laser cut, folded and black powder coated.
- Wiring loom assembled and fitted with 200 amp Digital motor speed controller, fuses and battery connections fitted.
- 750w 24v motor with mounting bracket
- Remote handset with 1 one metre lead
- 6mm steel welded front and rear buffer/drag beams.
- 10mm diameter coupling pins with R clips.
- Rear panel is fitted with, switches for freewheel and half speed. Two auxiliary switches are fitted for optional use. Panel also incorporates the Accucharge display.
- All body panels powder coated in colour of your choice
- Wheels, axles, lay-shaft, sprockets, chain and bearings.
- Suspension components. Springs bolts, spacers, bearings, etc.
- Window frames and window material.
- 3D printed Budgie nameplate
- Illustrated build manual.
- All fasteners.
