Beefy Auto Truck Information

Mr George Grist designed his first Auto truck nearly 100 years ago. The Lister Company liked it so much they bought the design and manufacturing rights and the rest as they say is history. The Phoenix Auto Truck is a little quieter than the originals, being a battery-electric version, ideal for a Sunday afternoon trundle round the railway. Although we used Beefy to denote the fact that it is built like the proverbial tank. We have left the front panel on the radiator grille blank so owners can choose their own name for their Auto Truck. The loco is available in both 7¼" and 10¼" gauge.
